Our commitment to environmental accountability is our global responsibility. We are committed to supplying products that meet the environmental control requirements of all our customers.
EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS2) is a revision of the previous RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC, which aims to establish rules restricting the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, in order to contribute to protection of human health and the environment, including the environmentally recovery and disposal of waste.
The new EU Directive came into force on 21 July 2011.
We distribute and manufacture products that already meet current EU requirements. We follow closely the developments in the environmental sector.
REACH is a chemical regulation from the EU, adopted in December 2006 and came into force on 1 June 2007.
We hereby confirm that we have knowledge of the EU Regulation EC No 1907/2006 – REACH (Regulation, Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals).
All the materials and additives we use are simultaneously subject to the provisions of REACH. We are a “downstream user” which means that we do not have any registration responsibilities.
We continuously acquire the necessary information from our suppliers to meet our obligations under REACH.
DRC Conflict-Free Minerals
We shares the concern that minerals mined from the DRC may be funding conflicts of a global interest. We support the accountability effort to ensure that this material does not make its way into the electronics supply chain. We only uses materials from certified conflict-free sources.
